Lee has been working as a Freelance Cameraman for BBC News since 2012, taking daily commissions and shifts for all kinds of features and news stories including: the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, 2015 General Election Leader Team, the Iran Nuclear Talks in Vienna, Various Fifa Scandals and the EU Migrant Story along with many more. Lots of his work with the Beeb involves live broadcast for news bulletins and general newsgathering, working alongside satellite trucks and using Bgan and LiveU transmission gear. Lee is also an experienced shoot/edit cameraman, often editing complete packages for the main news bulletins.

Thomson Reuters here in London have had Lee on their freelance books since 2010 where his first job for them was the Papal visit to the UK, after that he was involved in covering some great jobs like the London Olympics, the Royal wedding of William and Kate and the 2011 London riots. Regular jobs with Reuters TV are showbiz red carpet events and celebrity interviews, hard news and features, plenty of sport and press conferences. Shooting agency packages has been a great foundation for all his broadcast news work. He has just returned from Rio where he was working for Reuters ‘Broadcast solutions’ team, providing Olympic related packages for TRT’s ‘Beyond the games’ program.

Lee has been shooting for ITV News since 2012, taking on daily news shifts for them through ITN. During his time working for them as both a London based shooter and foreign shoot Edit, Lee has worked for ITV News at Ten, ITV Evening News and ITV London News, shooting interviews, VT’s and Features.

Shooting for Good Morning Britain has been excellent. A mixture of Live morning broadcasts with correspondents and Laura the weather girl both on location and at ITV Studios on the Southbank. And a good mix of shooting Features and VT’s. for the following day’s show

Lee has had two NHS Trusts as clients. The Whittington Hospital and Homerton University Hospital, both in North London. For part of his work with the Whittington he filmed two Patient information Videos highlighting the sterling work the hospital is doing promoting Enhanced recovery after surgery. For Homerton he produced two patient information videos showing what to expect from a stay in hospital and how to prepare for surgery.

The BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire Show is on BBC Two and the News Channel for two hours on a weekday morning and Lee has regularly been employed to film interviews and live broadcasts on location for them. Lee recently filmed Victoria Anchoring the whole show from a Junior Doctors Picket line outside St Thomas’s hospital with one camera and a single WMT. He has also single handedly shot and edited a three camera interview with Victoria and Elton John at an Aids Foundation Event.
