Commemorating the Centenary of the battle of Amiens

I had the privilege of being part of the Newsgathering team who travelled to the beautiful city of Amiens to cover the centenary commemorations of the battle that turned the tide of the first world war.

This VT was one  that I shot on my own using three cameras in the wonderful cathedral there where we met and interviewed one of the relatives of a veteran of the Battle for Amiens. Sophie, Danie and I edited it that night and it ran on BBC World, the news channel and the bulletins throughout the commemoration day.

Cameras used:

Canon C300 mkii (Main Camera), Canon 5D mkiv (wide single and two shot), and a Sony PXW X70 on the Reverse shot of Sophie.
